The Annual Grampian Radio Car Club (GRCC) 4hour endurance race will be held on the 22nd January 2012. This race is one of the most popular indoor race meetings in the North of Scotland, and welcomes teams representing clubs from all over Scotland in an attempt to win the 2012 GRCC endurance title.
The GRCC annual Endurance race is a relay type race, where teams of competitors race against other teams, with one of each teams cars racing on the track at any one time. Consistent lapping, staying out of trouble and good team work are the key to success.
In the 2011 race, The Dundee club, let by BRCA touring car national regular John Simpson triumphed. The club has recently been renamed DARCCK, and also won BRCA Club of the year for 2011, but will the winning continue in 2012?
1/10th scale touring cars
Slick rubber tyres (Water based additive allowed)
13.5T motors (with advanced timing) or 10.5T motors (without advanced timing).
RCTIMING race control software with handout transponders.
1 marshal from each team must be present at their marshal position at all times.
