For those of you who are thinking about going down to the IGP in April, I have been told that there are only 12 places left!

This year the IGP is only on the Sunday the 4th and for TC drivers it is 13.5 turn motors and 1350g but on the Saturday it is the last round of the Scottish carpet championships (also 13.5 and 1350g) so even if you have not done rounds 1-4 it would still be a good race to attend to get you car set up for the next day as it is on carpet with rubber tyres
same type of carpet that the USGP will be using I beleave

I will be there both days so give me a shout if you are going down

I'm guessing the 13.5 motors have to be on the BRCA list? I've been keeping an eye out on eBay but so far no joy.

I'm sending off my entry form and payment today, but do I have to register and pay for Saturday too or can I just turn up and pay? Do you have any contact details for the guys who run it as I wanted to email to say my entry is on its way?

Kieran, I've just read on a forum that folk have been having problems with the new Nosram X12 13.5 motors. Best stay clear me thinks. I'm trying to find a cheap Novak Ballistic one anyway, but like you, no luck so far.

Cheers Chris. But I want to stick with Novak so I can change parts easily from one to the other, so i might look at buying one in the States again. But it shows there are some motors for sale if you know where to look.

I'm now all booked up and confirmed for Saturday's CC round and Sundays GP. I just need to find somewhere to kip. There is space in the car if anyone else needs a lift.

I'm looking forward to practising my "drifting" again on sunday.

There is a new travel lodge just off the motorway that 10mins away from the highschool(track) or a travel lodge about half an hr away from the high school that's normaly cheeper.
Remember to buy aditive for carpet not tarmac otherwise it will make the car worse! Nosram stuff is good.

Muchmore stuff is better!
