About Event

It's getting to that time of year again when we host our annual 4 hour team endurance race. This event is open to anyone and has seen teams from as far as Shetland come and compete in our exciting 4 hour team endurance race. The event will be held on prima felt carpet using electric 1/10th scale 4WD touring cars running rubber tyres. During the event teams must make pit stops where they in turn have to change over to their team mates car. The event is always great fun and a nice change from the short sprint races we are so accustomed to. The race will be held on the 30th January 2011 at the Bettridge Centre, Newtonhill. For those who may not know where this is, it's just past Stonehaven and before Aberdeen if your heading North, so a lot more accessible for those travelling from further afield! I'll post directions when I get a moment.

Get your entries in quick as there is a lot of interest surrounding this event!!! Please let us know ASAP if you're withdrawing a team in order that we can allocate that space to another team.

Rules & Regs

• 1/10th scale electric powered touring car.
• Any commercially available lexan touring car shell, must have wheel arches cut out.
• Motors - 10.5T brushless with no timing-advance, 13.5T brushless with timing advance (as per BRCA lists) 19T or 27T stock motors allowed as per BRCA lists.
• You may run any slick tyre and carpet additive.
• NiMH & LiPo batteries allowed. Only BRCA approved LiPo cells allowed and must be charged in a LiPo sack (this will be enforced).
• Team must always have a marshal at their post, consistent failure to do so may result in a penalty.
• All drivers, marshals and pit person must have BRCA membership, we will need to see proof of BRCA membership on the day.
• If during the event the race director declares the race stopped due to damage to the circuit then all cars must continue slow to a stop, then listen for further instructions from race director.
• Weight limit is 1350g
